I would say if you had plates or a green sticker they would not look. the vin check was for the people who failed to have any papers. I believe. I kept my distance and my friends were not too happy for a few hours. What was really crazy was the buggy had a pinto engine. the cops took that vin number and ran it in the system. It came back as a 1929 ford that was registered to a 2009 model car.. WTH was the cop thinking???? It was pointed out that pinto engines did not exist in 1929 and who in their right mind would put it in a 2009 car?? I guess it could have been another buggy getting registered and the numbers were miss read. but this was in 2008 dec mid month. How do you register a car as a 2009 unless it is a new car??? The sheriff did not care about that info all that mattered was what the computer said...
You can find me at the DSB A place of welcome.
